Film screening and Q&A: ‘Between Land and Sea’

Acclaimed Irish documentary maker Ross Whitaker brings us Between Land and Sea, an observational documentary which takes us through a year in the life of Prime Surfing spot Lahinch in County Clare. The film follows a community of surfers trying to get by in this harsh climate, following their daily struggles with work and family alongside the endless draw of the waves.

Followed by a Q&A with cast and crew chaired by Broadcasting Authority of Ireland board member Rosemary Daly.

Family Art Workshop: Flotsam and Jetsam Family Art Workshop with Marianne Slevin

Join artist Marianne Slevin for a fun family workshop and discover how to transform your beach finds into works of art. Marianne will provide some material, but do bring along your own finds and transform them with her help.

Music: Riches of Clare

Join us for a night of traditional music with special emphasis on the music of North Clare with Mike Butler, Aidan McMahon, Michael Landers, Elaine Hogan and James Duddy.
