As part of the forthcoming exhibition ‘Broken Tale; Work from Pawel Kleszczewski and Kasia Zimnoch’, The Courthouse Gallery and Studios and Clare Arts Office‘s Embrace Arts and Disability Programme are delighted to present a one day stop-animation workshop aimed at professional practitioners, taught by Pawel and Kasia. The artists will be working with Adobe Photoshop (optionally Dragonframe) and Adobe After Effects.
This workshop is a wonderful opportunity for professional artists who wish to learn more about specialised animation techniques and approaches from two award winning animation artists.
With backgrounds in Visual Arts and Art History, Pawel and Kasia create animated works based on mythology, folklore and legends.
Their current project, ‘Broken Tale’, was shortlisted for the final competition at the International Visual Arts Festival in Spiracje in Szczecin, Poland (2016). It also qualified for the 28th International Film Festival in Girona, the Stockholm Fringe Festival STOFF (2016), and for 34th Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival, Poznan, Poland.
The workshop runs on Saturday, 4th March, from 11am – 5pm at the Courthouse Gallery and Studios, Parliament Street, Ennistymon, Co Clare.
Fee: €12. Includes lunch and some materials. Please bring a DSLR Camera if you have one.
