Feile Latino Poster for webWe are very excited to share the line-up of amazing artists for this year’s Féile Latino Ennistymon, a night of Hiberno-Latin music and dance at The Courthouse Gallery.

Every year Féile Latino donates its profits to a local community organisation, and this year they are very kindly helping The Courthouse Gallery – a timely gesture, as we are currently fundraising to replace our broken heating system.

French Rumba
A musical project created, developed in Paris that is characterized by its musical style that starts
from the rhythms Spanish Rumba until the rhythms Latino Cumbia-Salsa-cha cha. In their concerts are mixed energy, art of the South and a magnificent know-how. They transmit freshness and happiness to who knows how to enjoy it. Nobody will leave indifferent after seeing French Rumba on stage.

Emer O Flaherty 
Emer O Flaherty is an indie/alternative Singer, songwriter and musician from Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland. Emer recently won the prestigious Pan Celtic song contest representing Ireland and beating out all the other Celtic nations.

Emer writes in both in English and trí Ghaeilge, with influences including Norah Jones, Aimee Mann. Iarla Ó Lionáird and Radiohead. She sings, plays piano, organ, flute, whistle and some guitar. She says, “You could subtitle me ‘Music to make you think’. I also play classical, contemporary and traditional Irish music for concerts, and solo performances, most recently at Fringe Festival Praha, Czech Republic”.

Beto Caletti
Beto Caletti has performed at festivals in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Spain, Switzerland, Uruguay, England, Belgium, Colombia, Italy, Cuba and Japan as a guitarist, singer and composer. He recorded eight cd as a soloist that were published in Argentina, Mexico and Japan. He was nominated for the “Gardel Award” and won the “ACE Award” and “Disco de oro” (Japan 2005).

In his latest project he combines Latin rhythms with rhythms from Argentina and Uruguay. His compositions include musical genres like chacarera, zamba, bolero and candombe.

The CD “Dios tiempo” features such highly renowned musicians as Franco Luciani and Rubén Rada.

Born in Buenos Aires, he was a member of “Los musiqueros” for 15 years. With them he recorded 3 CDs as a performer and composer. He devoted himself to the research, composition and interpretation of Brazilian popular music, and as such he played on stages of three continents and published two books. He composed and recorded the songs for the first season of the award-winning TV show “La asombrosa excursión de Zamba”, “Encuentro” channel, Buenos Aires.
