The Courthouse Gallery proudly presents “Le Chéile” a group art show by students of the College of FET,
Ennistymon Campus (Ennistymon Vocational School). This end of year show hi-lites the talent and
creativity in North Clare and beyond.
There is something for everyone in this exciting show that comprises of sculptural, drawing, painting,
ceramic, animation and mixed media pieces. This year we have a process area where people can see
how concepts and work are developed in film, sketch books and drawings.
The title “Le Chéile” was chosen as it brings together and combines in a positive way a range of ages and
cultures in the two art courses in Ennistymon. Currently housed in the Crosbie building, in the centre of
the town, a wonderful space has been created to develop skills and explore art through different
mediums. These students are currently working towards QQI Level 5 and 6 awards. Learners use these
courses to build portfolios for college, for personal development and much more. Past students have
gone on to MA in art therapy, university and run their own art businesses, as well as finding a
community of like minded people to support their art.
Le Chéile exhibition opens at 6pm on Thursday 20 th April, 2023 in the Courthouse Gallery and runs until
4 th May. All welcome. Check out the Courthouse Gallery for opening times.
