Limited Edition Fine Art Print Pilot Programme

The Courthouse Gallery & Studios is delighted to announce our pilot programme of Limited Edition Fine Art Prints. This project will pilot the commissioning and production of an online art shop for the sale of affordable limited edition prints and original artwork. The programme will establish a not for profit model which gives to the artist and invests in new work while helping to support the galleries raising of funds to maintain its core activities. The Courthouse Gallery & Studios is a not for profit, registered charity that supports artists at every stage of their careers across the island of Ireland and internationally.

 

Our first release will go live Friday, 25th June created by Ronnie Hughes, titled "Tantra". All prints are €200 with an edition of 25. The prints are created from specially commissioned original artworks made into prints from The Cruse Scanner, one of Europe's most advanced scanners in @thecopperhse. The prints are on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Fine Art Paper. All prints are roughly A3 in size. In keeping with the ethos of The Courthouse, all artists are paid a fee upfront and related costs covered. The artist receives 75% of all sales.

 

Born in Belfast in 1965 and now living in County Sligo, Hughes studied at the University of Ulster, Belfast, receiving an MA in Fine Art in 1989. Recent Exhibitions include The Keeper, at The Model, Sligo, Recent Paintings, Fenderesky Gallery, Belfast in 2019 and Strange Attractors, Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin and Limerick City Gallery of Art 2017.
