See Hear, an art project by artist, Michael McLoughlin that endeavours to record the names of everyone living in Ennistymon and present them as part of an exhibition in The Courthouse Gallery & Studios this autumn.

Ennistymon is a continuously changing and diverse place that continues to welcome new arrivals to our community seeking rest, refuge and the love of neighbours, friends, and family. This artwork will celebrate this. See Hear is an art project that acknowledges community, diversity, openness, and support while presenting a mechanism for participation and collective activity and that sense of belonging.

If you’d like to get involved, the process only takes a minute, you simply say your name into a microphone. Michael will then process them in the studio to create the artwork. This recording will form the bases of the final artwork which will be launched as part of the Courthouse Gallery’s Autumn programme.
